Congresswoman Deborah Ross Endorses Charles Graham

LUMBERTON, NC — Raleigh Congresswoman Deborah Ross endorsed Charles Graham for Congress today, praising Graham’s ability to navigate the legislative process.

“We need legislators who know their communities and legislators who can work across the aisle,” said Ross

“Charles is someone who could start the work on Day 1 in Congress and be a huge asset to the North Carolina Delegation in Congress! That is who Charles Graham is, I have seen him do it and worked with him on so many things.”

Congresswoman Ross is in her second term in Congress proudly represented the people of Wake County. First elected in 2020, Congresswoman Ross serves on the judiciary, rules, and technology committees in Congress. Previously, Ross served in the NC House, where her and Rep. Graham were seatmates. Graham is a life-long teacher and school administrator, 6-term state legislator, small business owner, and member of the Lumbee Tribe. He is running in North Carolina as a Democrat. Currently, there are just two Democratic American Indians in Congress. If elected, Graham would be the first Lumbee Indian ever elected to Congress.
